The ultimate Taylor Swift fan took over Tumblr with her spot-on recreations of the Polaroids from 1989 and got an overjoyed response from Swift herself.
According to Buzzfeed, the Polaroids were a result of super fan Nadia’s procrastination during finals week at Barry University, where she is a grad student. Because why study when you could be doing your best Swift pout face for the camera:

Some people commented on the articles that the pictures are the “fat Taylor version” LOL. I mean yea obviously! I will never have taylor’s body type. And that’s ok. Creativity and beauty don’t have a size. Y’all be any size you want! Haters gunna hate hate hate hate hate.
“When I read [the negative comments], I sort of laughed,” she told Buzzfeed. “Some said ‘I hate when people are trying to be just like their idols, be yourself!’ Well, I’m not trying to be anyone but myself. I didn’t put on a blonde wig and go out and buy her exact outfit. I made it work with what I had. And what I had was just me. And that’s something to be proud of. I’m not a size double zero. I’m a size 8. And that’s OK with me. Because I think what people need to understand is that the size of clothing I am, doesn’t have anything to do with the size of my heart and all the compassion in it.”
She did receive this especially disturbing note from an angry Tumblr troll who I hope has been reported for these vicious and unnecessary comments:
