If they were a celebrity couple: “Tastley”? “Rwift”? The mind boggles. Ponder all that and more in this “Blank Space” tropical remix by Brazilian DJ Luckas, which shifts down Swift’s vocals into a register reminiscent of the Rickster on beach holiday ca. 1989, a glorious year.

It’s a fun thought experiment, Taylor Swift being RickRolled, but even better, the remix’s breeziness and holocene synths evoke one of those hotel rooftop parties where they spray you with a light mist when it’s too hot. Do you like this better than the original? Should Rick and Taylor duet? Guessing: yes and yes.
