The White House, Like Me, Is Not Going to Comment on Rudy Giuliani's 'Love Life' 'Today or Tomorrow or At Any Point Even'

Here we are, again.

Here’s all the shit we couldn’t cover today:

  • A day after Page Six reported that Rudy Giuliani was having an affair with a woman with “big boobs,” the White House declined to comment. “I’m not today or tomorrow, or at any point ever going to comment on Rudy Giuliani’s love life,” Sarah Sanders said after asked about the alleged affair at Thursday’s press briefing. “I will be glad to leave that to you and the reporter that spoke with him,” she added. Let us never again speak of Giuliani’s sex life. Thank you. [Talking Points Memo]
  • Sanders again denied a CBS report that she plans to leave her job in the near future. “I’ll pray for clarity and discernment on what my future looks like,” Sanders said. [Politico]
  • Maybe she has more to pray about. [ABC News]
  • A report released by the Department of Justice found that former FBI Director James Comey was “extraordinary and insubordinate” during his investigation of Hillary Clinton’s emails. The report also found that Comey veered from “well-established Department policies.” Hillary Clinton responded in a tweet. [CNN]
  • Paul Ryan has never heard of Scott Pruitt. [NBC News]
  • The superintendent of Yellowstone National Park found out that he had been fired on Wednesday by Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke when he saw the press release announcing his removal. He was never officially informed, even as Zinke tweeted pictures of his replacement meeting with Congress. [The Hill]
  • North Korea aired a documentary on Kim Jong Un’s meeting with Donald Trump. The 42-minute film includes a clip of Donald Trump saluting a North Korean general. Seems like it was a successful meeting! [Washington Post]
  • Despite Trump’s claims that the troops he ordered to the border would be patrolling, they are doing support work largely designed to free up the Border Patrol. [Politico]

Here are some tweets the president was allowed to publish:
