Just about the only thing that could possibly redeem the stupid term “muffin top” is an extremely goofy novelty rap song by a mother of two with lyrics like, “You’re a mother-fucking warrior who likes to eat cake.” (She sang softly to herself, waiting in line at the bakery.) And what do you know? The Internet has obliged!
Today.com reports it’s the work of Erin Keaney, a 43-year-old Toronto comic. “I wanted my girls to know that I love my body,” she explained. “I just don’t think we should feel like we have to be somebody else,” she added. “Just be your best you.” As a bonus, Keaney reminds me just a little of Doctor Who‘s Donna Noble, as played by Catherine Tate.
