  • The PGA Tour announced today that Tiger Woods will speak at a press conference on Friday, “to begin the process of making amends.” Later, Tiger was photographed for the first time in months jogging with a friend near his home.
  • This message was posted on Tiger‘s website today: “While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between him and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him. He also let down his fans. He wants to begin the process of making amends, and that’s what he’s going to discuss.” According to the PGA Tour website, Tiger will speak at 11 am ET on Friday. Sources say he’ll read a statement and won’t take any questions. [TMZ]

  • TLC and Jon Gosselin have settled their lawsuits against each other. The terms of the settlement are unknown. [TMZ]
  • TLC issued a statement saying, “TLC has reached a settlement with Jon Gosselin and will be undertaking procedural steps to conclude the litigation. All terms of the settlement are confidential. The whole Gosselin family remain under contract with TLC. ” A TLC source says Jon & Kate Plus 8 won’t come back, but the network “hopes they will soon be able to film the family again.” [People]
