- Today the official Celebrity Rehab cast was announced, and it includes alleged Tiger Woods‘ mistress Rachel Uchitel. Sources say she’s “addicted to love” … and only agreed to do the show because she has a crush on Dr. Drew.
- Uchitel initially turned down an offer to appear on the show, but Dr. Drew met with her to try to change her mind. Sources say she only agreed to the meeting because she’s infatuated with him. [TMZ]
- Another motivating factor: The producers doubled their initial offer to $500,000 for the season. A VH1 rep says Uchitel is addicted to pills, but a source tells Us “She is not an addict. She doesn’t do drugs and isn’t an alcoholic, but she does have problems with relationships. This is her chance to tell her story and show people another side of herself.” The new cast also includes Jason Wahler, Janice Dickinson, Jeremy London, Leif Garrett, Jason Davis, and Frankie Lons, Keyshia Cole‘s mom. - Donald Trump had offered Uchitel a spot on Celebrity Apprentice, but after learning that she’s going on Celebrity Rehab he said, “It’s a terrible decision. We have zero interest in her now.” [TMZ]

- A former L.A. prosecutor says it’s unlikely that Mel will go to jail: “At most, Mel will probably be charged with misdemeanor domestic violence. Oksana’s alleged injuries don’t seem to rise to a felony level and because Mel has no serious prior convictions, that’ll also lessen his chances of a felony. His alleged threats, while horrifying and completely over-the-top, aren’t necessarily a crime; there has to be evidence of a real intent to carry them out. If convicted, he’ll probably get probation and counseling.” [CNN]
- Mickey Rourke read a magazine article about gay rugby player Gareth Thomas, and is now trying to come up with a film based on his story. “The fact that Mickey is so passionate about doing a picture has been really flattering and although we haven’t come to an agreement yet we’re really hoping it does happen,” said Gareth’s spokesman. “Now it’s for the two managers to sort out.” [SMH]

- Filipino singer Charice Pempengco‘s rep says she only had a Botox shot “to relieve a jaw problem similar to TMJ,” not to narrow her face before her appearance on Glee. He added, “You’ve seen her face – she doesn’t have a wrinkle in it so she wouldn’t need it for cosmetic purposes. The Glee people are thrilled with the way she looks which is why she got the part.” [Us]
- Robert Pattinson says, “Kristen and I have lived a great adventure together with the Twilight films. We are very close and no one can understand what we’ve gone through together the last few years. I’m not going to blow that,” she said. “If they’re gonna kick me out, it’s going to be a fight, it’s an important fight to have.” [WENN]
- Bill Murray explains that he signed on to voice Garfield because he thought it was written by the Coen brothers: “So I worked all day and kept going, ‘That’s the line? Well, I can’t say that.’ And you sit there and go, What can I say that will make this funny? And make it make sense? And I worked. I was exhausted, soaked with sweat, and the lines got worse and worse. And I said, ‘Okay, you better show me the rest of the movie, so we can see what we’re dealing with.’ So I sat down and watched the whole thing, and I kept saying, ‘Who the hell cut this thing? Who did this? What the fuck was Coen thinking?’ And then they explained it to me: It wasn’t written by that Joel Coen.” [N.Y. Magazine]
