On Wednesday night’s Watch What Happens Live!, host Andy Cohen was so excited that Cher was on the phone that he joked about cher-ting himself. This woman is so powerful that she doesn’t even have to appear in person to get people to consider shitting their pants.
Cher had exciting news to share on her phone call: she’s touring with Cyndi Lauper, though several shows will have Pat Benatar instead (OH NO WHAT A DOWNGRADE). As clear from the screenshot above, the news that Cher would be touring with the goddess she’d done her “farewell” tour with was enough to get Cohen and guest Sarah Silverman jumping in their seats.
After dropping that news and giving a detailed explanation of what she was wearing, Cher laid down the law: She didn’t watch the Grammys because she was busy, she doesn’t know who is playing in the Super Bowl even though she’s a huge football fan (“You have to realize I’m almost a hundred and the teams that used to play have now moved somewhere else”), and she was asked to do something for the Olympics but she said no.
