Just in time to celebrate Mother’s Day (if you do celebrate Mother’s Day!), this new documentary short Tidal Wave Girls, shows young women and men discussing the women who inspire them and the future of feminism.

Filmmaker Elizabeth Giorgi says of the doc:

While Hillary Clinton makes cracks in the political glass ceiling and Lena Dunham challenges Hollywood’s ideals about the female body, it’s our mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, best friends and colleagues who are moving feminism forward today.

It’s very feel good-y, and after a couple of hard news weeks, I think we all deserve to watch our future presidents talk about the badass ladies in their lives.
