As a sort of advent calendar of kitsch, Pictorial will be counting down the final twelve days before Christmas by featuring some holiday presents of days gone by.

Not sure what to get for your loved ones this holiday season? Well, luckily, here’s Eckerd’s December 1990 gift guide. I need that boudoir pillow gift with purchase.

Obviously, you’ll want to order “Electric Youth” fragrance by teen sensation Debbie Gibson for everyone on your list—not least of all because it comes in a special “Power Play” packaging designed to look a fancy compact disc player. But perhaps Chaps might be a better fit for some folks. After all, it’s “the spirit of the West.”

For the real romantics, how about something with a French name, packaged with Renoir paintings? Or maybe you’d better go with “Chantilly.” It’s called “Chantilly,” after all.

Personally I’m feeling the faux-deco of “Luna Mystique.” So much more futuristic than English Leather.
