Yes, if you are a mom whose kid is also a mom (or dad), and you are under forty, your dreams of reality stardom are about to come true. A “major cable network” has issued a casting call that reads, in part,

Seeking young grandmothers for a starring role in the brand new series “30 Something Grandmas”. The show will showcase the stories of extraordinary women whose lives have been changed by the unexpected arrival of a new family member and the even more surprising title of “Grandma”!

Network execs obviously realized that the Teen Mom knockoff Teen Grandma wasn’t feasible, and went for the next best thing. Perhaps one-time 30-something grandma Whoopi Goldberg (pictured above with her daughter) can come on the show to give advice.
