A Sneak Peek At Oprah's OWN Network

Latest

Last night, during Barbara Walters‘ one-hour special Oprah: The Next Chapter, O aired clips of some of the programming on her network OWN, launching January 1. (One reality show involves kids telling their parents they’re neglected, with unintentionally hilarious results.)

Kidnapped by the Kids is a sort of Nanny 911, but instead of parents learning to deal with unruly children, kids confront their moms and dads about how they suck as parents. It’s meant to be touching and cutesy, but it’s kind of funny to see parents getting accosted at work by a camera crew, putting them on blast about their neglect.

Oprah Behind the Scenes is the reality show that follows O as she completes her final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show (bath-tub scenes included). Added to that, she will also host Oprah’s Next Chapter, which will follow her around the world as she interviews people.

Master Class is the show where we will learn without knowing we’re learning.

Hand-picked by Oprah Winfrey for their unique impact on the world, eight true modern masters step forward to share the greatest lessons they’ve learned along the way…an unprecedented first-person insight into the brilliant minds of the famous people we love, respect, and admire. First season masters include Jay-Z, Simon Cowell, Sidney Poitier, Dr. Maya Angelou, Diane Sawyer, Lorne Michaels, Dr. Condoleezza Rice and Oprah Winfrey.

Naturally Gayle gets her own show, as does Lisa Ling and Peter Walsh—Oprah’s favorite professional organizer—who will deal with hoarders.

Here’s another look at some of the shows, which was posted on OWN’s website today.
