The upcoming Superman vs. Batman extravaganza cast a Wonder Woman last week. What’s not so clear is how Diana Prince will be worked into the plot, and the romantic turn of the recent Superman/Wonder Woman comics series has some wondering whether she’ll be a rival to Lois Lane for Clark Kent’s affections.
It seems Amy Adams (our current Lois) would rather not, thanks.
Time points to a recent video interview where the actress was asked whether she’d be interested in playing out a love triangle with the two superheroes. And it sounds like she’d really prefer to skip it: “I don’t know. I mean, we’ll see. I hope that I can be involved with a woman on screen where we’re not in a love triangle. That would be fun.” (It’s worth noting this interview was for American Hustle, where she’s in, yup, a love triangle.)
“Maybe where we team up together and we work as teammates instead of adversaries,” she added.
