Today on The View, the ladies discussed 16-year-old Justin Bieber‘s recent comments in a Rolling Stone interview about rape and abortion. While most of the ladies at the table agreed that he’s too young to know what he’s talking about—and even if he were mature enough his opinions still shouldn’t hold much weight because he’ll never actually be faced with being pregnant—Elisabeth decided to stand up for him, saying that his opinions on these weighty matters shouldn’t be discounted just because he’s 16.
Getting snippy with Joy, natch, Elisabeth’s argument is that “young minds” have created Twitter and Facebook, so we should “value all opinions of youth.” But only if those opinions are not couched in jokes at her expense.
