Well, this is absolutely awful and heartbreaking.
A 17-year-old teen from Brooklyn was stopped for suspected shoplifting at Victoria’s Secret on 34th Street in NYC earlier today. In her bag, the security person found a fetus. The girl told police that she suffered a miscarriage a day earlier.
The fetus didn’t show signs of trauma, and according to NBC New York, the medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
The girl was taken to Bellevue Hospital. Here’s hoping she’s currently getting the help she desperately needs.
