Gone Direction: Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik Are Fighting on Twitter

It’s been about a month and a half since Zayn Malik quit One Direction and have you noticed a change in the world? Like the way color is shining less bright and food is tasting less flavorful? Or how you know that it’s Spring because the calendar says May and the temperature reads in the high 60s, but it still feels cold like winter? And how you’ll listen to music (songs you’ve heard hundreds of times before), but all it sounds like is a dull roar? Welcome to your post-Zayn in One Direction existence…an existence that’s only about to get worse.

Since Zayn left the band (sorry, I have to lay down for a moment), (returns an hour later) Louis Tomlinson has, of the remaining 1D members, been the most vocal about the departure, specifically taking issue with Naughty Boy—the producer Zayn is working with to launch his solo career—for being so boastful about their new collaboration.

Well, on May 6, Naughty Boy tweeted this:

To which Louis responded:

Causing Zayn (who’s previously refrained from saying anything bad about his former bandmates) to reply:

A little band called One Direction once sang the following words:

Everything that you’ve ever dreamed of
Disappearing when you wake up
But there’s nothing to be afraid of
Even when the night changes
It will never change me and you

They lied to us. Oh, god. They LIED.
