Here's the First Preview for Girl Meets World

Latest

The premiere of the long-awaited Disney Channel comfort comedy Girl Meets World draws nigh, and at long last the millennials and late Gen X’ers who will make their nieces and nephews watch it with them have a short preview to quench their unending thirst to relive their own childhoods.

You can watch it here.

But who’s going to watch a cheesy sitcom that’s essentially based on fanfic from another cheesy sitcom that aired its first episode more than twenty years ago? People will watch. They’ll flip to the Disney Channel for reasons they can’t even fathom, not knowing for sure why they’re doing it. They’ll arrive at the Girl Meets World credits, as innocent as children, longing for the past. And they’ll walk off to the couch and sit in their sweatpants on a perfect afternoon where they sat when they were children. And cheer their heroes. And they’ll watch the show, and it’ll be as they’d dipped themselves in magic waters. The memories will be so thick, they’ll have to brush them away from their faces. People will watch, Ray. People will most definitely watch.
