Kesha Thanks Supporters with a Song in Midst of Legal Battle with Dr. Luke

As a thank you for the outpouring of support following the unfavorable New York Supreme Court ruling that keeps her contractually bound to Dr. Luke, Kesha has recorded a short video that features a (these days) rare treat—a little bit of singing.

The video was posted to Twitter by her lawyer, Mark Geragos.

In it, Kesha sings, “I don’t know what I’d do without you. I don’t know where I would be, without you.”

“A special thanks to everyone who has had her back,” Geragos tweeted.

Kesha is legally bound from recording new music outside of Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe record label. As such, she has not released an album in years and has taken to singing covers in order to perform.

As she previously told E! News, “I’m dying to put out music… but while I can’t, I’m just gathering ideas and just praying for the day to come soon that I can put out music.”
