It’s been clear that there’s no love lost between Meghan McCain and Bristol Palin since McCain noted while promoting her book Dirty Sexy Politics on the Daily Show that she was accused of talking “bad,” looking “like a stripper” and “hurting the campaign” — all this while Sarah Palin had a pregnant teen in tow. Yesterday it was reported that Bristol bashes Meghan in her new memoir, saying she ignored her during their initial meeting, and gave her a “sneaking suspicion I might need to watch my back,” adding, “Every time we saw Meghan, she seemed to be constantly checking us out, comparing my family to hers and complaining.”
Meghan has responded by Tweeting the 2008 campaign video posted above, which is titled “Girl Power” and features Meghan sitting with her arm around Sarah Palin’s “sweet, sweet daughter Piper.” She goes on to declare how thrilled she is with her father’s choice of running mate, saying, “I feel like my heart is going to explode with pride for her.” Sure, Meghan may have been able to stop complaining for two minutes, but you can still see in her eyes that she’s plotting against little Piper. (In Bristol’s delusional mind, at least.)
