This unique fashion show from 1950s Britain, courtesy of British Pathé, was the first show where styled bathing caps were introduced. (Because a girl can’t go swimming without a bedazzled cap on her head, silly!) It’s hard not to giggle at the delighted models fashioning their new headgear, but nevertheless this video makes me want to buy my own swimming cap, take the hot glue gun to it, and adorn it with bows and flowers. And maybe some critters, just for flair.
