Watch James Franco Get Inappropriate With Emma Roberts in Palo Alto
LatestHere’s the trailer for Palo Alto, based on James Franco’s collection of “linked” short stories, directed by Gia Coppola, which premiered at the Telluride Film Festival this week. Franco plays the soccer coach of Emma Roberts who, because he is older, tells her that he knows “that there aren’t a lot of good things around. And I know that you are really good.” They’re joined by a few less well-known teen actors, and VAL KILMER.
The movie apparently contains the following deep, very teen and very universal conversation:
Boy: You just don’t care about anything.
Girl: I wish I didn’t care about anything.
It all looks and sounds very Coppola-esque, if what that phrase now makes you think of is Sophia and not Francis Ford.
