Watch Rihanna Wind On Drake & Perform 'Work' Live at the Brit Awards

Entertainment

The Brit Awards, which are approximately three thousand times more interesting to watch than the Grammys even despite the fact that they are as white as the Oscars, hosted Rihanna’s first live performance of her new material—“Consideration,” with SZA, and “Work”—and she brought out surprise guest Drake for the occasion.

Drake’s vocal is a little shakier than Ri’s, but it’s understandable considering the mental state he must be in while she winds upon him (view his tiny hop into her butt to get a glimpse into the inner workings of his brain).

The set design was brilliant—super minimal lighting projected on Rihanna and Drake’s white outfits, her fringed pants total perfection for butterfly winds and other signature Fenty dances. (I was slightly disappointed, however, at the absence of that little gun motion she makes, though she does sneak in a moment of her favorite pussy pat.) People on the internet are already calling this “twerking,” however, and to those people I have to say: you are wrong, this is what people do in clubs outside of the Sandals you stay at and never leave on your Caribbean vacations.

SZA, too, sounded fantastic, lowkey in a red moon and black leotard behind her.
