A mystery woman found a unique way to silently protest the confirmation hearing of David Bernhardt, a former oil and gas lobbyist (!) who President Trump has nominated as Interior Secretary.
In this C-SPAN footage, you can see the woman ducking out of the camera’s view and emerging seconds later—with remarkable grace—wearing a Creature from the Black Lagoon mask on her head. Watch:
She was joined in the chamber by other demonstrators silently wearing the masks as well. Environmental organization Greenpeace claimed responsibility for the stunt:
