Adina Quarto of Rhode Island discovered her estranged husband, with whom she has a 6-year-old son, married a Michigan woman after he posted photos of his second wedding on Facebook. Richard Leon Barton Jr. tried to cover his tracks by defriending Quarto, because that isn’t suspicious at all. Somehow, she caught on to his plot and saw through friends’ profiles that he married someone else after he was released from jail. Now he’s facing another four years in prison for polygamy, and may get more time because he’s a repeat offender. When asked why he didn’t just divorce Quarto, he said, “I let love get in the way.”
