I don’t know where Allie X has been all our lives, but her new single, “Prime,” is fantastic. It’s a perfect blend of catchy melody, memorable lyrics, and just enough oomph to get you thinking about dancing without actually having to do it. (Which is good, because no one wants to see the combination of tap and arm swinging I call dancing.) (I took tap for three years and all I can do is a mildly convincing shuffle-ball-step.)
