Your July 4 Fireworks & Hand Injury Extravaganza Has Been Canceled

This year many Americans will have to find a way to express their patriotic fervor without lighting things on fire — and with good reason. Recent disasters have led authorities in several parts of the country to outlaw fireworks for the time being. Shows have been called off due to drought in Texas, the recent tornado in Missouri, and wildfires in Arizona. We’re just hoping the bans don’t extend to firework-spewing bras.
