10 Things You May Have Missed On TV This Week
LatestIn this week’s compilation of pop culture crap, James Spader punches in at The Office, Tyra Banks shaves Nigel Barker’s head, and Dr. Drew was on Wheel Of Fortune back in the 80s. Plus, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia makes a visit to the actual Jersey Shore.
1.) It’s Always Sunny goes Jersey Shore
Mac and Frank wash out to sea with their “rum ham,” Dennis and Dee smoke angel dust, and Charlie finally has a magical date with The Waitress. Unfortunately, she wakes up terrified next to him the next morning admitting she was on ecstasy — which would be tragic if we didn’t know that the pair was married in real life.
2.) HIMYM gets real about a woman’s “Truth Voice.”
Plus, Cobie Smulders and Neil Patrick Harris deliver a highly-entertaining dance to Dee-Lite’s “Groove Is In The Heart.”
3.) Late Night goes to the Jersey Floor again.
This time, the actual cast gets in on the fun. Spoiler alert: Vinny looks like Screech from Saved By The Bell in layman’s clothing.
4.) Things are a little different around The Office.
I like James Spader as the new CEO of the company. Plus, everybody loves planking!
5.) Tyra cuts Nigel Barker’s hair.
Truth be told, Nigel’s long hair was kind of growing on me. But you know the deal: Tyra’s show, Tyra’s rules.
6.) Dr. Drew, 30 Years ago.
The TV doctor was on Wheel Of Fortune in the 80s wearing gigantic glasses and talking about his love of the opera.
7.) Fox And Friends can’t get a word in with Muppets on set.
But then again, the words that come from Gretchen, Steve, and Brian’s mouths on a daily basis might as well be coming from a brainless puppet, so….
8.) Wendy Williams’ audience can predict a flop.
Wendy does a very scientific experiment to figure out how well Kim Zolciak’s solo reality show will do.
9.) Sarah Michelle Gellar was into vampires before it was cool.
During the last days of All My Children, many of the stars whos careers spawned from the soap returned to play their characters once more. This little gem comes from Tuesday’s episode, in which SMG laments how trendy vampires are today.
10.) Dharma & Greg reunited on TV this week?
Forget all that talk about Charlie Sheen and Ashton Kutcher’s penis, this is news.
Bonus: Ryan Gosling has a love/hate relationship with Disney World.
Dodai posted Gosling’s interview with Conan this week in full in her Dirt Bag, but I really feel like we should be concentrating more on his obsession with Disneyland’s cats. Is this why he brings all of his girlfriends there?
