Former Mets outfielder Lenny “Nails” Dykstra is accused of stripping naked and requesting a massage from a woman he was interviewing as a housekeeper. But luckily for him, he has Charlie Sheen on his side.
According to the New York Daily News, the woman, whose name hasn’t been released, saw Dykstra’s Craigslist ad for a housekeeper, and arrived and his LA-area house for an interview on April 9. At that point he “led her to a guesthouse, gave her a box of oils, disrobed and jumped on a bed.” Says the woman’s lawyer, “He said he had a lot of injuries from being an athlete and needed her to massage him as part of the job. That’s when she ran out.”
Why did Dykstra need a new housekeeper? Well, it could have something to do with the fact that one of his previous housekeepers left in January after alleging that he demanded oral sex from her “on Saturdays,” and also failed to pay her $2,000. No charges were filed (the LA Times cites lack of evidence), and Dykstra issued this classy denial:
If she was assaulted on Saturdays, then I’m a … ballerina dancer on Sundays. This is a maid. That’s not even worth commenting on, are you kidding me?
Whether or not the assault allegations are true, Dykstra may have a history of not paying people. An escort says he bounced a $1,000 check to her in December. And he was held in jail for almost a week on charges of bankruptcy fraud until a friend put up the bail money. That friend: Charlie Sheen. Sheen says, “The rendition guilty trolls that kidnapped my dear friend Nails clearly forgot that he’s a fellow Vatican assassin and his best pal is a warlock.” Well, if Sheen’s willing to vouch for him, he must be a stand-up guy.
