Don Jr. is Writing a Book [UPDATED]

Don Jr. has apparently found a publisher greedy enough to make him an author. According to Politico Playbook, Junior Mint has signed a book deal with Center Street Books, the conservative imprint of Hachette Book Group that includes among its author roster noted rightwing blowhards like Jeanine Pirro and Newt Gingrich. His book, according to a source, will “focus on politics, current events and the future of the MAGA movement.” Sounds riveting.

Don Jr. reportedly ran into some difficulties last year when shopping around a book to publishers, who largely weren’t interested in putting out a book by someone with his, um, legal troubles and also, I would think, because he is incredibly dumb. As one person with “knowledge of a major publisher’s thinking” said to Fox Business last year, “There was basically no interest in a book that’s basically a defense of daddy book when you’re under federal investigation yourself.”
