In a new Funny Or Die sketch, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, and Adam McKay parody aggressive environmentalism with a “green team” that beats up a motorist — and gang-rapes a woman.

It presents a difficult conundrum: rape (here, off-camera, but it’s specifically called out as such) isn’t funny in any way, but neither is, say, a non-sexual attack, which also a punchline here. And yes, the point of this video is that the Green Team does bad things in the name of environmental correctness, and rape is a Bad Thing. Still, I didn’t laugh.
