Ja Rule Would NEVER SCAM or FRAUD, He Says in Fyre Festival Tweetstorm
EntertainmentIt’s unclear how Billy McFarland feels about the dueling Fyre Festival docs released last week from Hulu and Netflix—if he was able to view them at all from his prison cell up in Otisville, where he’s serving a six year sentence for defrauding investors of more than $26 million for his nightmare event. You know who has a lot of feelings, though? McFarland’s co-founder, Ja Rule. We know because he tweeted all of them.
When we last caught up with Ja in September, he was spouting on Drink Champs about being “not ashamed” of Fyre because the idea was “fuckin’ beyond brilliant” and that “…people didn’t really know I had anything to do with the festival until it went wrong.”
