Just Cavalli: For the Sexy, 90s-Loving Pile of Fabric Scraps in You

Roberto Cavalli presented his Just Cavalli spring 2014 collection as a part of Milan Fashion week, and it looks like what you would happen if a Lisa Frank unicorn granted a half-demented form of sentience to the virtual closet from Clueless. (“MISMATCH; MISMATCH,” the closet would croak with gleeful, daft abandon as it stitches together floral, plaid, and animal print in order to create the tiniest lil’ slip dress in the world.)

The collection is very 90s and extremely revealing: it features a bounty of crop tops and cropped sweaters, miniskirts, and cutouts. For the few garments that aren’t skin tight, Cavalli opts for a more experimental silhouette: baggy pants, a dropwaist that almost resembles an obi, and asymmetry.
