Ooooh! British hunk triangle from nine years ago! HOW TITILLATING. As part of the News of the World phone-tapping trial, a voicemail from Sienna Miller to Daniel Craig was played in court. While she was still engaged to Jude Law, Miller apparently left Craig a voicemail telling him, “Hi, it’s me. I can’t speak, I’m at the Groucho with Jude. I love you.”
“I sabotaged things. I burnt a lot of bridges,” the Alfie star tells the magazine of letting her rocky relationships in the early 2000s overshadow her acting resume. (Her first high-profile romance was with Jude Law, from whom she split after he was revealed to be cheating on her; she later dated Rhys Ifans and had an affair with Balthazar Getty, who was married at the time and has four kids.)
“On set, I was first to arrive, last to leave, best friends with the crew, totally professional, no dicking around. But when I wasn’t at work, I wasn’t behaving the way you should,” she confesses. “I’m very lucky to have a second chance in that town…It was really bad. What was going on in my private life was not an easy thing to read about. People don’t want to see films with people they don’t approve of in them.”
“But it’s not like you’ve actually done anything immoral, have you?” the interviewer asks. To which she replies, “No, no, no, I have.”
It seems like everyone involved is now in a much more stable relationship. So. Good, I guess. I can’t even imagine how fucked up and mortifying this trial is. [Us] [Guardian]
