Two parents decided it would be funny to tell their children that they’d be spending their fall break in Chattanooga, Tennessee and, at the last minute, reveal the totally-awesome-and-amazing trip they had planned at Disney World instead. Maybe the kids really wanted to see the Scenic City’s Riverbend festival. Maybe they’d been told it was voted the #8 best “Bang For Your Buck” city in the country and were just looking out for their parent’s money in this economy. Or, perhaps, they really, really wanted to see a Chattanooga Lookouts game. Whatever the reason, these kids truly had their hearts set on their Tennessee visit — Mickey Mouse and dinners with Disney princesses be damned — and what should have been a joyful revelation ended up being a made-for-the-internet moment filled with tears. (Wait a second, there’s such a thing called the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? This changes everything!)
