If silver parachutes were real —and not just the replica I got with my DVD— one of them would be on its way to all of us right now with this amazing Katniss Everdeen doll inside. It wouldn’t help any of us win The Hunger Games, but it would certainly make reenacting scenes from the movie (or fanfic—no judgment!) in our bedrooms much easier.
This work of art was custom painted by artist Noel Cruz and is currently up for auction on Ebay, with the top bid at $660. Eesh! But the doll seems absolutely worth it considering how many hours of work must have gone into transforming her into this fabulous likeness of Jennifer Lawrence. Wait, do you think she might be the top bidder? She might totally be the top bidder!
