Ever been at a restaurant and witnessed a breakup from one table over? How about a breakup that occurs using a script made entirely of movie titles?
This short film, starring Jenn Lyon and Ryan Hunter as the ill-fated couple and Maggie Ross as the waitress who can’t even with their shit, invokes an impressive 154 movie titles in conveying the entire arc of a fraught, dramatic interaction.
Not to denigrate this impressive achievement in film-naming, but it doesn’t hurt that most romcom titles already sound like snippets of a romantic argument.
