Watch a Woman Rap About the Importance of Getting a Pap Smear

Nadia Kamil’s ‘Pap Rap’ is all that it promises to be and much, much more.

In the incredibly catchy and clever song Kamil asks that we “please excuse the misogynist language of hip-hop in order to promote women’s health….it’s a tricky balance isn’t?” She then goes on to rap quite convincingly about the importance of pap smears.

“Ladies! And anyone with a cervix!” she proclaims on her YouTube page. “I recommend getting screened for cervical cancer if you can. In the UK this is at age 21 and older, and if the results are clear you only have to go back again every three years.”
