First of all, this raccoon is named Melanie. Second, Melanie is a perfect name for a raccoon. Third, this bad-ass raccoon can ride a bicycle better than most people you know. She’s probably safer and actually shares the road, too.
While cute raccoon videos have not been as big a thing as say, cute cat or cute dog videos in the past, it’s possible that Melanie, who also has an Instagram page, is ushering a new era of cuteness, moving away from the traditionally fluffy to the scrappy and rugged. Next up? stoats. Just lots and lots of stoats being adorable and having the best name ever.
