According to a survey of 1,200 men conducted by Clorox (naturally), a surprising number of men are living in their own filth. One in eight men said they wear their underwear two or three times before washing it. Guys ages 18 to 29 wash their bed sheets about once a month, compared to once a week or more for women. And more than half of men said they use the “sniff” test to determine when their clothes need to be washed. The survey only reported men’s responses for this category, but I was under the impression that women take a whiff of their shirt and then wear it again too. (Other ladies, I mean. All of my garments are meticulously laundered after every use.)
