Miss America's Thoughts On Wikileaks Amount To Total Gibberish
LatestBefore she was crowned Miss America at Saturday’s pageant, 17-year-old Teresa Scanlan of Nebraska was asked about Wikileaks. She plans to be a politician some day, so of course her answer was well-informed and totally comprehensible.
Here’s the text of her response, in case you didn’t fully comprehend her nuanced argument:You know, when it came to that situation, it was actually based on espionage, and that when it comes to the security of our nation we have to focus on security first, and then people’s right to know. Because it’s so important that everybody in our borders is safe, and so we can’t let things like that happen, and they must be handled properly, and I think that was the case.
Keep studying Teresa, and someday we’ll crown you president of the United States! (Provided you pass the evening wear portion of the competition.)
