Nonstick Pans May Lead To A Nonstick Uterus

Latest

A type of chemical found in nonstick pans may cause early onset of menopause, researchers at West Virginia University found. The chemical family, known as PFC’s, are found in an estimated 98% of Americans. High levels of the chemicals are associated with early menopause, but it’s yet unclear as to whether the chemicals are causing the condition or simply present alongside the condition’s occurrence.

(I’m fully aware that “nonstick uterus” isn’t an accurate medical term for “menopause,” but let’s make it happen. Like “fetch.”)
