The Night Belongs To Ursula Le Guin

Fantasy lovers rejoice — today is renowned writer Ursula Le Guin’s eighty-third birthday.

She’s probably most famous for her Earthsea novels, the first of which follows a young wizard who is dogged by a evil shadow. But she also wrote lots of other stories and books, including the adorable Catwings. You may well have read one of her works as a kid, and if you didn’t, check one out! Or watch the trailer for Tales From Earthsea, a recent movie based on her novels.

Oh, and have a great weekend!
