Although Paulson has been working steadily since the mid-90s, the 32-year old actress has created a major blip on our cultural radar thanks to her awe-inspiring portrayal of born-again comedienne Harriet Hayes. It’s actresses like Paulson – equally and enviably adept at both comedy and drama, stunningly beautiful in a way that is neither over-stylized nor surgically-enhanced — that make us able to withstand the horrors of younger turks like Lindsay Lohan and Mischa Barton.
