  • M.A.C. now says all profits from its ill-conceived collaboration with Rodarte, which featured nail polishes named things like “Factory” and “Juarez,” will go to “newly created initiative to raise awareness and provide on-the-ground support to the women and girls in Juarez.” By some estimates, several thousand women factory workers in the troubled border city have been murdered since the 1990s; 4,000 people have been killed in Juarez in the last 18 months.
