The Charlie’s Angels remake is roaring ahead — here are the first set pics of Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh on set. Apparently the Angels are going to be way, way color-coordinated this time around.
This reimagining of the classic 1970s T&A&empowerment-fest comes from Miles Millar and Al Gough, the creators of Smallville. And this time around, the Angels are women with a shady past, who get offered a chance to redeem themselves by doing missions for the faceless man on the speaker. The pilot doesn’t sound as though it has any crazy science fiction ideas, but how long can the Smallville guys keep themselves from going nuts with crazy plot devices? We give them a month.
