Gay Marriage Bill Fails In Maryland

Latest

On Friday the bill that would have allowed same-sex couples to marry in Maryland failed to get enough votes, leaving no chance that it will pass this year. Anti-marriage equality groups also gave credit to African-American and church leaders for helping to defeat the bill, which would have made Maryland the sixth state to legalize gay marriage.
