Jennifer Lawrence's Fucked Up Hand Tattoo Would Make a Chem Teacher Cry

At this weekend’s Comic-Con, Jennifer Lawrence was asked about the tiny, subtle hand tattoo you definitely never knew she had. Turns out, the tat is scientifically inaccurate. Celebrities can make permanent bad decisions! They’re just like us!

“I was with Liam [Hemsworth]’s family and everybody was getting tattoos and I was like, well, I’m always gonna need to be hydrated so I guess I should get H2O on my hand,” she explained in an interview with a HitFix reporter.

Except the two is superscripted in the tattoo, and anyone who has seen H20 correctly written likely knows that the two should be subscripted.

Here is Lawrence’s hand and its tattoo at the premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One:

“By the way, I know that the two is high and in H2O the two is supposed to be low,” she said. “I should’ve Googled it before I got it tattooed on my body forever.”
