Nancy Motes, Roberts’ half sister, was found dead of an overdose on Sunday and Julia thought Motes was the one behind her tabloid coverage of the actress.
According to Page Six, after Motes accused Roberts in the UK paper The Sun of fat-shaming her, the actress started to wonder if her sibling was the one selling her secrets to the press.
Motes, 37, said she was not sure if Julia would be at her wedding planned for May.
“Julia didn’t get on with Nancy’s fiancé either, and had made it clear she wasn’t planning on going to the wedding,” one source said.
I have the sinking feelings that the news about this family will not get better.
