Kate Upton Accuses Guess Co-Founder of Grabbing Her Breasts, Saying ‘I’m Making Sure They’re Real’

Just one week after accusing Guess co-founder Paul Marciano of sexual harassment on her social media feeds, model Kate Upton has provided additional details about the incident to Time magazine.

According to Upton, Marciano assaulted her on “the first day of shooting” a Guess Lingerie campaign in 2010. “As soon as I walked in with photographer Yu Tsai,” she said, adding:

“Paul came straight up to me, forcibly grabbed my breasts and started feeling them — playing with them actually. After I pushed him away, he said, ‘I’m making sure they’re real.’

Upton goes on to accuse Marciano of “forcibly” grabbing her head, kissing her “face and neck,” and asking if he could escort her to her hotel room—a request she “immediately declined.” During Upton’s final shoot with Guess was in 2011, she claims Marciano was “outwardly rude and degrading the entire time,” and that he went as far as to call her a “fat pig” on set.

Photographer Yu Tsai backed up the model’s claims, telling Time he “witnessed the harassment.” Marciano, on the other hand, is denying every word. In a statement, he said:

“I have never touched her inappropriately. Nor would I ever refer to a Guess model in such a derogatory manner… I fully support the #metoo movement. At the same time, I will not allow others to defame me and tarnish my reputation. I have pledged to Guess and its Board of Directors my full support and cooperation with a fair and impartial investigation.”

Angelina Jolie is on the cover of Elle this month, sporting an intense stare and bold fuchsia gown. Inside, she’s interviewed by former Secretary of State John Kerry for some reason, and says things like:

I tell my daughters, ‘What sets you apart is what you are willing to do for others. Anyone can put on a dress and makeup. It’s your mind that will define you. Find out who you are, what you think, and what you stand for. And fight for others to have those same freedoms. A life of service is worth living.’

And:

I think of how hard women fought to get us to where we are today. Everything counts, from the way you hold yourself in daily life and educate yourself on your own rights, to solidarity with other women around the world.

*clears throat*

*pauses for effect*

She’s running.
