Lindsay Lohan, Artistic Muse, Makes Her Venice Biennale Debut
LatestPainter Richard Phillips has ventured into a new medium: He’s made a 90-second film titled Lindsay Lohan, which features the star looking serious (in a turtleneck) and sultry (in a white bikini). Phillips considers it a new kind of portraiture, taking inspiration from Jean-Luc Godard’s Contempt and Ingmar Bergman’s Persona, starring Brigitte Bardot and Liv Ullmann respectively. It’ll debut next week at the opening festivities of the 54th Venice Biennale.
