Michele Bachmann Claims Kinsey Report Is 'A Myth,' Causes Irony to Collapse In Upon Itself
LatestDelusional theocrat Michele Bachmann has broken irony again, this time by claiming that the Kinsey Report, arguably one of the most significant scientific publications in the last century, is “a myth.” Why? Because in Bachmanalia, up is down, left is right, science is myth and myth is science.
Bachmann, who believes that the Bible is the literal word of God, dismissed the pioneering bit of evidence-based scientific analysis with the wave of her hand at a campaign stop. Iowa resident Kathy Schnell approached Bachmann with a sign that read “Gay-friendly Iowan” and asked Bachmann to sign it. Bachmann laughed politely but obliged. Schnell then asked Bachmann if she was aware that 10% of the population is gay, and, using math, 2.8 percent of her 28 kids (Bachmann’s helped raise several foster children) are probably therefore gay. Bachmann seemed to ignore Schnell, but couldn’t resist replying, “That’s according to the Kinsey Report. Your facts are wrong… It’s been a myth for many years.”
It’s been a myth for many years. Were those years part of the 50 years that Michele Bachmann spent living “as a real person” or did the Kinsey Report Now A Myth era begin when Bachmann was still living as a cyborg?
Other pro-gay rights people were present at the Bachmann event in Iowa, including several rainbow flag-waving college students, because trolling Michele Bachmann with facts is the planking of the 2012 Presidential election.
When asked if she’d consider supporting Bachmann’s quixotic quest for the Presidency, Schnell said she didn’t think so. According to CNN, she said of the Presidential candidate, “I think she wants to be a very nice person. She’s adorable. But I just don’t think she should be our President.”
Ouch.
